Tractors Coming?

Anyone else see the ad a the top of the site with the Bobcat compact tractor? Does anybody know when they will hit the market?

Many of the "1st tier" dealers already have units in stock. They are starting with the lower (20-30) hp units first, and will have larger hp stock out next year.

To their credit, Bobcat is shipping out units only when they are sure that they have the proper necessities in place to support the product.

I briefly looked at the CT120, CT225, & CT230 tractors at my dealer today. I say briefly because they were covered in snow and the temps were pretty cold. I will agree with Kopycat, all the tractors I saw had loaders on them.

The tractors look good. I am impressed.

It would be interesting to know if they are simply "Kioti's with a Facelift". I was under the impression that the Korean megacorp that now owns Bobcat also owns Kioti.

Bobcat is quick to point out that their new compact tractor is a BOBCAT, not a Kioti. There are (apparently) differences aside from appearance. I have not personally had the opportunity to see a Kioti CUT alongside a Bobcat CUT, so I will reserve my judgement on the differences until that time.

Doosan is the company that purchased Bobcat. Daedong is the company that produces Bobcat's (and Kioti's) CUT line. They are two completely different companys. The deal with Daedong to produce a CUT line for Bobcat was in the works well before Doosan came into the Bobcat picture. I think I/R was dragging it's feet about Bobcat taking on a CUT line, so the Doosan deal actually helped facilitate Bobcat getting the CUT's from Daedong.

I heard the Bobcat version is exaclty the same as the kioti except bobcat has a different loader on it that was made to their spec

Bobcat of Lancaster.

Directions: Take the Brownstown exit off of Rt. 222. Head west on Rt. 772 for one block and make a left to head south on Rt. 272. (Sheetz gas station is on the corner.) 1/4-mile South on the left (Next door to a Kubota dealer).

Bobcat of Lancaster had three models there.

Bobcat specs (wheelbase, curb weight, turning radius, etc) are identical to Kioti. Bobcat dealer claims, in addition to a different loader, 120 some changes from Kioti.... Bobcat 'program' deals mirror Kubotas (financing and warranty), disappointing since Kioti's are better.

Miller Implement in St. Nazianz, WI has 2 of each (20, 25, and 30 hp), all covered with snow.

There are the same tractor as the Kioti they roll down the same assembly line just putting different colors on them.
Bobcat does use an American made loader and backhoe.
The loaders and backhoes are made by SMC which is Rhino.
