Jim,
I went thru the same process trying to sell my
B21 @ 430 Hrs, stored inside and very clean and well kept - you can see pics on here.
Dealer offered $12K and stated new
B26 is $33K - I had a option to get a
B26 on here from MissingsTexas so I advertised mine locally and on CL.
I felt a nearly new
B21 (with 2x the capacity of the B23-25 series) should be worth $16500 but the closest offer I got was $14K range to come and "look". I replied yes you can look for $14K and then give me another $2K to take it home..
So I set a date - end April to sell mine and ulitmately let the
B26 go to another TBN member for a great price, and I am keeping mine - for now anyway.
What we are dealing with today, there are a host of SCUT options, Yanmar/Cub 2450, Mahindra Max, JD 1026 and Kubota BX with TLB's. These new are all in the $16-18K range new and most didn't exist in 2003..
That was my competition - people think a used
B21 with 2x the capabilty is worth a lot less than the new BX or 2450 Yanmar etc with 0%.
You have a challenge I think getting $3K less than new - the implements you list are maybe $2K new - yes I know you have the thumb and tires but those dont add a lot of value to a buyer.
I wish I could paint a better picture, but thats reality at least in my case.
