Just out of curiosity does it yell at you when its cold out like the 3050 did?? I bet you will miss that!!:)

Don't know as we have not had any weather below 32F yet.

There are two other items I like about this T4.75 tractor that on my Boomer 3050 irritated me to no end.

On the T4.75 I can get off the seat and exit the tractor without putting the parking brake on, the range selector in neutral and the gear selection in neutral......and the unit only alarms for 3-5 seconds and the engine keeps running. On the Boomer 3050 with CVT Transmission if I got off the tractor with the engine running and not apply the brake the engine would quit and it would audibly alarm forever. I get off my tractor constantly when picking up pecan limbs, inspecting insect traps or marking trees and having to apply and disengage the brake lever 30-40 times a hour was a hassle. I am mature enough, 61 years old, that I do not need some stupid alarm to let me know the tractor may creep/roll in neutral if not on level ground.

On the T4.75 I can place the PTO lever between regular PTO and Eco PTO and still rotate the PTO shaft by hand in order the connect the PTO shaft from any rear mounted implement. On the Boomer 3050 the PTO shaft would lock in a fixed position with the motor off and sometimes it was a huge hassle to rotate the implement PTO shaft to match especially with a spring loaded shaft collar. I am a happy camper so far......

Utopia

Is the PTO itself turned on/off by a switch or manual lever?

The PTO is turned on and off by a new fangled contraption called a "lever".

Was there a long learning curve to using that lever???:) I assume it's a tier 4B tractor what's involved with the maintenance of that exhaust system/filter?? Every 600 hours change when your servicing the rest of the tractor as the brochures says?

Lever works just like the one on my original tractor a Ford 8N except on the T4.75 I don't have to bend over to reach the lever. The tractor exhaust is Tier 4B and there is no maintenence. Regular fluids and filters maintenence is supposed to start at 600 hours but I will perform engine oil, engine oil filter and main hydraulic filter change at 50 hours.

That sounds great. It's a tractor without all those unneeded fancy electronic controls a tractor that works when you need it. I'm jealous!! thanks for the info Utopia. I did find out I can order one with industrial tires though.
