3RRL. Could you give us an idea of how fast or fpm you have for line speed.

I too was toying with the idea of the mile marker. Afraid to spend the money and not have any line speed. Also what is the gpm of your tractor.

I had those receivers for my gauge wheels on the box blade anyway, and I'm always wanting to tow something so this little 26" wide hitch is perfect. I've got more of those receivers because I wanted to add them to Loretta's box blade too. So she can use it as well. She usually pulls the dump trailer to our work site but then has no implement to help with the dirt work. Now we can both do work plus have the trailer there.

Randall, about the Mile Marker Winch...
My tractor hydraulic flow is now about 8 or 9 GPM max. The winch is a 2 speed and to me it is fast enough in low gear for initial heavy pulling (dislodging) and fast enough for retrieving after that. One thing I like is I can alter the speed with engine rpm and I have only pulled at about 1800rpm engine speed instead of 2300 max rpm. I have 2 other smaller electric winches to compare the line speed and the Mile Marker is about the same speed as them in low at that rpm. High gear is faster. I have only pulled a few logs and also pulled out some 20' tall Buckbrush trees with it no problem. I'm no expert wincher so it seems very good to me. I'll try to get some photos of my next winch job for you guys ... maybe a video that will show line speed.

Oh, and you know I have a receiver up front fro it too, right?
