Thanks for all the kind words everyone

Turby, I put more time into this thing than I should have. I mainly bought it so I would have a trailer to beat on. Mostly dropping logs on it and taking them to the mill but I know I am going to treat it better than some of my vehicles defeating my purpose for buying a trailer. My buddy was over today and I asked him to put the first scratch in it for me but he refused.

That is one fine looking trailer. Bring it to Texas and I'll scratch it for you.

Great job in very regard. Especially like the jack leveling stubs on the rear. Better to have and not need than the reverse.
That is a trailer to own and use forever.

I have a friend that always takes a ball peen hammer to anything he gets new, and puts the first dent in it. Once done, he says, "Now I can enjoy driving/using it!"

I wouldn't want to mess that one up either, bubbacuse, but it is going to happen, so enjoy the trailer. With all of your good work and effort, the structure will last, and that is the main thing.

Beautiful job. Makes me feel like a took too many shortcuts on mine. Still I'm happy with how mine turned out. Tell you what, I'll give you double your initial $450 investment for it. :D

bubbacuse77, quick follow up question. Looks like you used self tapping screws to secure you decking. Where did you get them? Did you have to go to a trailer store or are these ST screws available at a general hardware store or home center? Thinking I may need to put more bolts on for my decking, but a ST screw would eliminate the need to go underneath to secure the nut. These screws must be pretty tough to go through some reasonably thick steel channel. Thanks in advance.

Excellent work
One thing you can never get back is time. They grow up too quick. Now go play with your son

You can get them at Menards and Lowes. Not sure about Home Depot, never checked there.
