Trailer size for a L3130 with backhoe

All he has in stock is a 20' 10000 GVW trailer. I figure that will be suffent. If the backhoe sticks out a little what can you do. When my tractor was delivered they used ratchet straps the big thick ones is that ok? I will only be transporting the machine about 20 miles or so. I just plan to groom a MX track. I may not even have a the hoe on it. As I plan to use a rear blade to smooth out the grooves. One other thing guys is a 84" rear blade ok for the 3130? My bota dealer said it will work excellent and did not reccomend getting a smaller blade what do you think?

rear blade info from manual

The Kubota manual recommends max rear blade of 72" for L3130. If you are talking box blade, the max listed is 65" and 880 lbs. I'm not saying it won't handle more, but that is the implement limitations listing from the manaul, FWIW.

My B3030 TLB was tight on a 16' trailer . The best for a B3030 TLB would be 20'. So imagine a L3130 TLB. IMHO 20' should be the minimum.

OK, I found the way to add pictures (I was restricted about the size). There is a 16' aluminum trailer and the other one is a 20' steel. Same tractor B3030 TLB.

I got the 20' trailer. It fits perfect even with the backhoe on it. It may have a slight over hang, But nothing to worry about.

I have the L3130HST, 723 loader, and BH-90 and yes.. I have loaded tires.. had them before the backhoe.. my total weight is just over 9000 pounds. You need a pretty good trailer for that.. I was told not to consider anything under 20 foot. Remember, you can't legally transport without having the pins in locking the backhoe.. so that means it'll be sticking over the end of an 18. Not good.

And of course.. you need a pretty beefy truck to pull something like that.. Pintle hook and all. Otherwise the trailer police will be out looking for you on the nearest interstate.

I have a 20' and 10000 GVW. I also have a Dodge Power Wagon with 4.56 gears it tows it fine. A 20' trailer is perfect for that set up. I also have locking pins for the hoe.

Sorry, I gave bad info on my trailer. It had 18' deck + 2' tail.
