My Maxxis tires are speed rated. Can't remember the rating and I'm not at home now.

Buy good stuff and use it - that's my plan.
I just bought Maxxis 15" Load Range D trailer tires. Where is the speed rating? I looked and don't see one. But I really don't know what I'm looking for, and these particular tires may not be speed rated.

Anyone us LT tires?

I use 15" LT tires on my 25' fifth wheel with no problems at all. On my previous 32' 5th, I changed the brake drums in order to use 16" wheels with 8 lugs so that I could use load range E tires from a truck which also allowed use of the same spare as my truck. My brother had the same size trailer and had to change tires twice, based on age rather than mileage. I had no problems at all with my set up.

once on tirerack you can go to "research & advice", then "tech center/tires", then in the left column "how do I read speed rating ..."
