Cut and frame a hole in the lift gate that the tail wheel will fit into.

maybe I can lift the bushhog wheel up over the front rail and gain some room.
Yea, already thought about that, but like TripleR says, I have the lift up gate on the back that is a pain to take off.
Well I finally made it down to Barlow country and picked up my trailer last Friday. It is a 16' Gatormade Utilty with rear gate. I really like it alot and it pulls very well.
When I went to load my B2630 w/ FEL, and bushhog, lo and behold it was a bit to long for the trailer. I ended up taking the rear wheel off the bushhog and even then had to hang the bucket over the front of the trailer. Obviously didn't have much if any room to postion the load for balance and tongue weight, so I may have been a bit heavy up front.
Anyhow, just wondering what others are doing when loading with similar sized tractors w/ FEL and a rear implement such as a bushhog. Removing that bushhog wheel is a bit of a PITA, but I guess I'll get used to it.
Thanks !
Here's how my new B2320 was delivered, (he had two tractors to del).....![]()
*Just skip the 3/4 ton and go to a 1 ton.I got my trailer also before the tractor. When we were shopping for old pickup (for fun), we needed a trailer to haul the pickup. We went shopping for trailer and figured 18', but the 20' was only a few dollars more and would allow me to balance the load easier, so 20 ft, 10000 trailer (weighs under 2000 empty) allowed us to bring our "new" old pickup home. It towed very nice behind 1500 Suburban (about 5500 loaded). We bought a used L3130 and was going to take the pickup off to bring the tractor home, but the dealer said, delivery is included (and the price is the same if we pickup).... so the pickup is still on the trailer and we have a new toy.
Long story to say that I don't use my trailer very much but want to be able to haul a compact tractor or old car or whatever. The trailer is about right for the Suburban and
* will be even nicer behind 3/4 pickup later..
