Not really, if you Figure you only have about a days worth of work to do then maybe.
I have a lot of work to do up there and couldn't possibly rent a machine for cheaper than a 400-500 dollars for what I need to do.
I do love renting though, I used to be against it but now I see how much more economical it can be for those times when you use a piece of equipment once or twice. There are times where it costs a lot less to rent but there are also times it isn't.
