I've found 4-5 of these on my land. This one is in good shape but the others are falling apart. Problem is they are attached to the tree at the top of the ladder with bailing wire. On most of them I wouldn't even try to climb.

I've got jillions of trees but seems a waste to drop the tree just to remove the ladder, so I won't.

Oka-ay, but I'm not sure how accurate I can be if jumping into the air at the same time. ;)

You will have to work on your jumping AND your marksmanship. The regulation requires one to be at least eight feet off the ground.

How much would a trampoline for that cost compared to a blind? One or the other, if course. I wouldn't put a trampoline under a blind.

I don't hunt anymore, but did a lot when younger. Are tree stands seen more in midwest, east coast? I never saw or knew anybody that used a tree stand.

Not popular out in the PNW.....used more...as you say in the mid west and east coast......a few use them out in the PNW for bear...rarely deer.
