Trespassing + theft issue

That what most of us was hoping you would do so glad to hear it best of luck!

I suspect they have more problems than just trespassing on you that will come out of this people like that are a mess in every aspect of their life's usually.

I think I'd show up at their house one day, walk in, pick up a TV or something of value and walk out with it. If they asked me what I was doing, I'd just say, "Oh, I thought that was how you guys roll...just take anything you want" lol...

How about calling them up and saying, "We need to change your appointment time that you pick blueberries"

If it were me, I would have not said a word, I would have hid in the weeds a couple of nights till they showed up and shot off a few rounds of BLANKS from a shot gun.

Message delivered VERY LOUD and clear. Case closed.

I had a neighbor that decided to hunt pheasants near my property every year. Often I would hear the buck shot hit my metal roof. enough was enough. The next year he showed up. Every time he shot I shot into the dirt, he never knew where I was shooting as I didn't know where HE was shooting. He got the message and never returned.

This is where a smaller town comes into it's own. I've had an informal "chat" with the Chief of Police. Not a complaint, just a chat. Not ranting up and down just a chat to explain exactly what was going on and to find out the best course of action sort of a chat. For some magical reason the issue never happened again which is fine by me.

This is tough one in a small town, but here's an idea I got from someone I know who had a problem with folks steeling equipment from their property.

First, capture it all on camera as you are doing. Send them the tape, and allow them to make a contribution to your favorite charity (Local PBA, or Rotary are big its) in leiu of you pressing charges for trespassing and theft.

No one else has to know - they will get the message, and your charity will get some much needed support.
