I'm back now! Those boys over there don't appreciate me much! :confused3: However, you keep asking questions that I have no knowledge base on, and I don't want to "cheat" and look it up. :confused2:

How about you ask some questions??? Bet you know things that most of us don't.
Whats that old saying? "All's fair in love & war".:dance1:

I did ask some crash, but they were too easy, and everyone got them quickly.

Here is an easy one:

Which single engine airplane was the first to fly its horsepower in airspeed, (i.e., it would fly 200mph with a 200hp engine)?

That actually became its claim to fame, even in the later models. Bonus question: What is the unique feature, referring to looks, of that airplane?

Don't know about "first," but the early Cub power and speed were about the same.

Probably the Mooney 201. The wing, horiz and vertical stab trailing edges sweep forward on Mooneys

If I may, I would like to throw one out there that I think will astound.. Who invented the first radio remote control vehicle, What year was it demonstrated in Madison Square garden, and What was it.

So a three part question, extra points for getting all three!

Here's one................In which state is it illegal for a man to shoot off a gun while his female partner has an ******?

Was my guess of Mercury correct?

You perhaps should have specified highest albedo as I (and I'm sure others also) took it ot mean "from earth.

titan: Because it is covered ice and snow (not sure what the snow/ice is composed of though) and yes it does have volcanoes - ice ones.

Why is my fading memory so cluttere up with so many useless things ...well, except for playing Trivia..

It was a model boat - not sure of the year but 1907 comes to mind - Marconi or Tesla - I'm going with Tesla.

Hi Harry,
Mercury is not correct. It is our moon. One side is always facing the sun. In a deep crater on the back side they have discovered water ice that is almost absolute zero.

Titan does have ice volcano's.

Carved Pumpkins are used as a Halloween decoration. But were originally used to celebrate what holiday??
Who started the carving tradition??
What vegetable was originally used???

Yes, it was the Mooney 201. It became Monney's claim to fame, that their airplanes would cruise their horsepower.

And, while the vertical stabilizer (tail) looks swept forward (Mooney's unique look), it actually is straight! The leading edge is vertical, and the trailing edge of it sweeps forward, giving the appearance that the stabilizer itself sweeps forward.

Good job, Heywood!

Sorry, crash, but yours was a good guess.

J. Edgar Hoover

Interesting. I have read quite extensively (albeit years ago) on WWII, and I believe that the higher-ups knew with some certainty that there would be an attack, but they didn't know where or when. There was some innuendo that Churchill had that info, but kept it from Roosevelt, but I had never heard that Hoover had any more knowledge than anyone else. Is this story credible?

Pretty good crash.. Tesla, a model boat, but the year was 1898 .. the man was a genius, far ahead of his time, and I feel a lot of his work is yet to be developed or understood.

Turnips were the original not pumpkins, but I don't know the other 2 answers. It is amazing how you can remember snippets of useless info, but not the overall story.
