Trouble locating replacement shifter boot for Massey 1030

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement rubber boot for the stick shift on a Massey 1030 (not the T030)? Or the correct part number? Base inner diameter needs to be between 2 1/4" - 2 1/2", top inner diameter needs to be between 1/2" - 9/16". Thanks.

It appears there is more than one variation of 1030. You do know that AGCO has all their parts manuals posted online, don't you?

Click on "View Books" in the Guest User section on the right. Type your model into the window, and then select Massey Ferguson where it says "All Brands", and it will give you the option to pick which 1030 you have. That will bring up a list of the major components...click on the Gear Shift tab, and you'll get a diagram with all the parts, their index number, and the current AGCO part number. That should give you a number to work with, or at least something to reference if you call an MF dealer.

Thanks a lot. I did NOT know that. Invaluable. Appreciate it.

In the meantime I made a temporary out of an old tractor inner tube and hose clamps, half an oil rag around the stick inside to reduce internal spatter, and a full oil rag outside above the boot to prevent moisture from getting in even though it's stored indoors. Click pic.

You might be able to scroll through these and find one that works...I think they might have a "universal" type that uses zip ties to close the gap.

Thanks for setting me up Gman'. There were three in that gallery with diameters I could work with, but of the three the ACS130 has a riser base that mates with the riser on our tractor and can accept a hose clamp. I just ordered it. :dance1:
