Trying To Decide Between CK 2610 HST or CK 3510 HST SE

I bought the 40, they didn't have a 35. I am glad I did as I have a 6ft tiller. Dpf works good, regenerates every 40hrs or so. The tractor just works plain and simple. Priced the 35 jd and Massey Ferguson before I bought the Kioti.

I was thinking the same way you are. I chose the 3510se. I’ve only had it a few day. Glad I went with the 35. I’m just north of you in Westmoreland county PA. My primary use is brush hogging. My 35 bogged a couple times when the cutter wasn’t clearing. I can’t imagine brush hogging a 3’ tall field up my hills with less power.

My precious tractor was a Deere 4400 gear tractor with R4s. I flipped everything around. I knew I wanted R4s. Wasn’t sure about hydro. I have 11 hours on it in 2 days. I made the right choices all the way around. Love the SE package. The thing is a billy goat on the hills with loaded R1s.

Thanks to all for sharing your thoughts. I have to agree that if the primary duty is mowing get more hp, especially with loaded tires going up hills. I still haven’t decided but need to pretty soon because I have dirt, stone, and some big rocks that I need to move and spread. May go shopping next day or so.

If you still haven’t decided - newbie, but with a 5’ RC I’ve stalled the engine (almost) in heavy weeds (6’+) several times and I have the 3510se hst. First tractor and I really like it but the Kubota guy tried to convince me to go with the 25 hp version. Really really glad I went with the 3510.

And 28 vs 21.5 pto may not sound like much but it is 30% more. Surprising how HP much it takes to pull a 5’ RC.
