TSC implements

Look at the equipment before you buy if at all possible.
Brand names can be important on power equipment but not so much on something like a box blade or toothbar.
I looked at a box blade at Tractor Supply and then at my local Kubota dealer. The one at Tractor Supply looked to be steardier, better welds, and overall better built but a little more money. I bought from TSC.
Tent shelters come in different prices with different diameter and different thickness of tube framing. Again look before you buy and not just at the price tag.

I recently purchased a Kubota L4310 with a FEL. I now need some attachments and wanted to get some feedback on the stuff at TSC. I need a blade (box vs angle) for grading our road and prepping our garden site. I can use the FEL for the snow until I can get a snow blower for the 3pt. I also need a rotary cutter, probably 5ft, and a post hole digger. I want a 6 ft tiller, but the cost is a little steep, and since I will probably only till once or twice a year, I can rent it till I can better afford it.

Also, has anyone ever used the portable shed they sell at TSC? It is like $350 and I could probably secure it against winds. I wanted to get a shipping container, but they are $2500. I cannot build a barn on my acreage until I build the primary residence (County code) and looking to give a little shelter till I can next year. Thanks for any feedback/advice in advance.

You asked and I will give my honest thoughts JUNK IMHO if you are going to do any type serious ground work.I would find a local farm store dealer who sells woods, landpride or befco to name a few.coobie

I have a CountyLine carryall, and it's held up great so far. I agree with Ken, I wouldn't buy anything like a tiller or cutter from them...

Honestly a L4310 is getting to be a little bigger than I would feel comfortable using with TSC equipment. I have a County line box blade and it works great for me, however my tractors are also pretty small. The quality of some of their implements is good, while another of the exact same item will be crap. You have to carefully look at each piece, see how good the welds are, thickness of metal used, quality of paint, etc to determine if it's a good buy. I got my box blade for 20% off, quality was good, so it was a win-win situation.

Land Pride, has light, medium, and heavy duty classifications for their attachments. The cost goes up along with the classification. TSC attachments compare to the light duty classification. As others have said, the dealer is the real difference. TSC does not do warranty work, you get a third party repair service. TSC staff will usually read to you from the brochure or manual if you have a question. They will order parts, they do not keep them in stock. My local TSC gets their truck on Tuesday. If you don't order it in time to make the truck, add a week. For small things I buy TSC, big stuff I do not for these reasons.

I bought a countlylne PHD a few weeks ago. For implements that I use a lot, I wouldn't hesitate to go with a name brand. My RFM is Bush Hog and it's built like a tank. I bought a 6' Woods rear blade off the lot at a substantial discount a couple years ago, from a really neat farm store that naturally went out of business before I had a chance to revisit the place, thought I would strongly recommend that anyone using a back blade for snow get at least a 7' blade.. Anyway, I'm not planning on drilling hundreds or thousands of holes, and the PHD is really a "utility" implement, and I'm hoping it performs well and lasts at that level of use. For the PHD, a 6" and a 12" augur, 8% tax and all, it was about $800. It has helped me with some tree planting and a couple holes for a new VLTHSWGD (Very Low Tech Hybrid Solar/Wind Garment Dessicator, aka, clothesline) I'm also considering a pole shed for my poor outdoor tractor, which I can build up to 9x16 here without a permit or driving my taxes through the roof.

Some things make sense to buy top-of-the line and some don't, especially if you're not rich. I'll keep my fingers crossed on the PHD.
