TSC paint sucks

I wonder how long the contract with Majic is and how many customers TSC will loose in that period of time. Used to be a reason to go buy Valspar.

could it be that the Majic paint is not as forgiving as the Valspar to imperfect conditions?

Too bad one of us doesn't work for TSC. I'd love to know why they changed.
Did Valspar raise their wholesale price too much? Delivery issues? Or did Majic make quite the sales
pitch as to their advantages? Which are?....

The decision to change brands was probably made on a golf course somewhere, during the consumption of beverages.

I suspect it's all about price since TSC is a publicly traded company. They must figure the Majic quality is good enough for us country people.

I started a refurb on a 16' trailer of my dad's and shot it with Majic flat black...
Coverage was good...
The can did have a lot of solids in the bottom but I am satisfied with the overall coverage...
As to the longevity that is still up for debate...
At my age I doubt once I get the trailer completed I will paint it again...
I am sure that Tractor Supply, like most other big corporate companies, bid out to the lowest cost...
I am sure that Majic Paint was the winner over Valspar...

The new Majic paint may suck, but the Valspar rattle can new orange I used a couple years ago on my Kubota has faded to something approaching primer red. Looks horrible.

The Kubota orange I got at the Kubota dealer was crap, too. Poor coverage and took two days to dry, even though it used a catalyst. I shot it from a gun, so there was no rattle can to blame.

Air quality standards are making it harder and harder to get good paint, especially here in Kalifornia. Fortunately, lots of places exist on the Internet to get better stuff...
