- Kubota BX-24 - other goodies listed in my profile.
Last year I bought two 18 watt units from LEDSTORE through Amazon. They came up on sale in October, so I bought two more, but 27 watts this time. I haven't mounted the second set yet, but I'll be pointing the 27's forward, and 18's rearward, on my BX24 ROPS, wired into the rear auxiliary pigtail. They each draw less than 3 amps.
For the past year, I've had one 18 watt facing forward and one rearward. They have been sufficient to work at night plowing, snow blowing, brush hogging, digging and grading, etc. I haven't had any issues with glare, being mounted up behind my head as they are.
The new set appear to be the same mfg as the originals I got. They are round, have no mfg name or markings, come with a single 18" heavy rubber cord covering a + and - wire. The mounting bracket and bolts are SS, and have held up well on the first set. Shocks and vibration haven't caused any problems. They have good heat sinks on the rear, which do not get overly warm, and the lenses are glass.
I thought I ordered floods last time, but they may be spots, with very usable spillage outside the spot area. I see that the 27's I just got are listed as 30 degree spots. I'm happy with LEDSTORES. They arrived in about ten days, so probably direct from China, but I didn't take note on the packaging. The UPC on the plain white boxes begin wit an X000, and comes up blank on a Google search, adding to the China theory.
Seller is listed as "Meco", which is not in the previously listed disclaimer, but I suspect that is a TUFF LED lights marketing strategy, to cover their additional warranty. Mine look just like the TUFF photos Zick posted, except they are round, and came in plain white cardboard boxes. Here's where the copied UPC label text description brings me.
