I frequently hit mine on trees and the barn when mowing up close with no damage, and likewise back into my fence with the plastic fenders...but no, I wouldn't be able to "hang-up" the tractor with it. TuffTops are lightweight and intended to be easily removable...a plus for those who need to fold their ROPS. Although mine clears the barn door, I do remove it from time-to-time, seasonally or working in the woods...

That's a good point. With a fixed ROPS I only removed mine once and at the moment I can't remember why. Major hassle. I took about 1.5" out of my ROPS to clear the garage door. My only option unless it stayed outside...not, or I had to let air out of the tires every time...not.
I actually like mine in the woods as it helps keep some of the stuff off of me. But if I catch a big grapevine, it'll stop the tractor and sometimes pull the front wheels up!!

OK, I know where you are. You're on the VT border and I'm 1 mile from the ME border due east of you. Thanx Google Earth.
