Is the tractor with the Box blade your 2200 or the 2660? Cant really tell in the pic.
How did it work with the BB? Were the weights required? I ask, because the BX will have a fair bit of BB work to do, both shaping a new lawn and annual maintenance on a gravel drive.
All this assumes i hear back from the dealer... No word yet, maybe i insulted him with my offer :laughing:
The one with the box blade is the 2660 and having used the 2200 in the other picture, I wanted a bit more weight for FEL as well as box blade work.
The added weight did help with using a box blade as long as you don't expect too much out of a relatively light machine to begin with.
I can't say the weights were "required" as I did the same stuff with my 2200 without weight, but it seemed to help.
Overall we have been very happy with the BX2660.
I have too much road to maintain with a BX now, so I added a bigger tractor for that. The roads seem to have gotten longer with age and I wimped out anf got another cab tractor.
