Twisted Loader

mine has been tweaked for years. It works fine and I have not had occasions where it made a difference. Sure is handy though.

Okay....okay....okay....stop laughing. I just read my Front End Loader Manual (Imagine actually reading the directions before using something) and learned that the dealer installed the bucket level indicator upside down. I turned it around and presto it works correctly. Sorry.........

Also I learned that my TC29 has a two-speed dump feature on the bucket. I need to play with that to get used to it.

Sorry...............have a good night.

Zipper,

That is actually a clue about your non-level loader. If they put that on bassakwards, they possibly could have mis-installed the loader too. Common for a minimum wage person with a wrench to just fully tighten up bolts as they go and not get it all aligned and level first.

Ask your dealer for the assembly manual for the loader. A photo copy is good enough. Read it a couple times, then loosen up all the mount bolts, align it and tighten them in small stages so you don't induce any stress. (all hand tight, then all 20 ft-lb, ect). The proper tightening order and specs should be in the manual.

And for the record, were this my tractor and the dealer told me that one (1) single scoop of dirt casued a 1" tweak, and we would be doing the "3 legged hop" down to the hospital to get my size 11 out! He was totally blowing you off. You should expect correct assembly. Then again he may not be paid to fix dealer prep faults from a different dealer.

I'll completely agree with John. I have a set of forks on my loader that I use frequently. On several occasions I've needed to lift something that I could only get one fork underneath. I've even lifted a wheel off of the ground doing this. While not recomended based on the many posts, this has not "tweeked" my loader and the bucket edge still sets perfectly when lowered on my shop floor.

Check your bucket it may be twisted. I seen this two times on tc40d tractors. Or take the bucket off or measure the loader arms off the ground .
