Would you believe I had to give someone time off Tuesday! My last week at work and I have to give someone the last step before they loose their job.

Bummer!

Of course the process takes five steps and you gotta miss a lot of work to get that far.

Also since the plant closure announcement there are three divorces filed or about to be filed by my forty five people. Suprisingly two of the three are women. Both supported non working husbands.

Rumor has it that several men were served divorce papers when wives learned hubby would no longer have a good paying job. One guy told me he knew of seven in the first full week. My wife says they should be whipped.

If the wives stay married to husbands only for the money they make, what does that make them?

Once again, BUMMER!

The most important decision one must make in their life is their wife/husband, life partner, spouse, mate, significant other, or what ever you want to call them.

They don't teach that in schools or colleges.

But it is true.

In that respect I have been extremely lucky that mine chased me down, ran over me, and dragged me to the altar.

Or was it the other way around?

Hmmm.

Very similar to Hugh Hefner, it is all for love........of the money! Enjoy your last days at work.

actually, that should be taught your parents through example; along with money management skills, taking responsibility for your actions, and a few other basic life skills.

Some things can't be taught in a school.

Enjoy the day - it may be bitter/sweet. When I was forced into retirement I had mixed feelings. I do miss a few people... But I have enough projects to keep me going for another life time. Also, not commuting I gained another 60 hours a months. You can get a lot accomplished in 60 hours... or not!

Enjoy the day.
