TYM T474 pto will not stay on

PTO will start when you push button and then shut off when released. Dealer sent me a potentiometer Assy have no idea where it goes

Sounds like there's a problem with the switch mechanism, but greater minds than mine should probably weigh in.

Is PTO selector in Auto or Manual? IS the red push button staying lit red after you turn it on?

I have tried it in both auto and manual the light will stay on as long as I am pushing it when released light and pro shuts off
