I am considering buying an LS u5020. I am not that familiar with the LS brand, however I know the company has built tractors for other major brands for several years. My question to the forum is would you buy another LS brand tractor based on your experience with your current tractor?

I would. Actually, I don't remember much dissatisfaction with the brand within the forum. Two notable exceptions are spectre533 with his PTO problems (finally fixed) and Short Game with his anemic loader issue. (Not much to be done to fix that one outside of a redesign.) There are probably a few others if you look around. Most would agree that with LS you get a lot of tractor for the money, though I have heard prices are going up.

Guys, i appreciate the advice. I went to the dealer this morning to get some more information and to test drive the tractors again. The dealer also sells Massey Ferguson which I was also considering. After talking with the dealer for a while, he made me a deal on a U5030 that I couldn't pass up. He is supposed to service and deliver the tractor to me on Monday. It ended up the larger tractor was only 1200.00 more than the 5020 and he had it on the lot instead of having to order it. Just FYI the salesman showed me an email from LS stating as of August 1st there will be a 3-4% price increase on most models. He showed me the email after I had told him i would take the 5030. Again I appreciate the advice and I hope you all have a great day.
