My inlaws live in a single wide and I used a bas of 4 x 4 posts pegged to the ground with re-bar pegs all the way around and then went to a supply house that makes the colored metal roofing and had it cut to length. I dug a trench just in front of the 4x4 base about 8" deep then mounted the roofing metal vertical all the way around the perimeter. It went up real well. It has bee in place for about 10 years and I expected the metal to rust off below grade over a few years. I was thinking about putting a new metal roof on my house and thought I would check how rust resistant it was and went to my inlaws and dug to the bottom of the metal and it looked as good as new. It has held up high winds and the weed trimmer doesn't faze it.
