JD 4210
I have a JD 4210 and the Fel seems to be tweaked. On level ground the left side of the bucket is about 3 inches off the ground while the right is touching. I've taken the loader off and on a few times to see if that helped. All the brackets look tight and square. Nothing looks bent or broke and I haven't hit anything with it or lifted anything to heavy with it. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Lifting anything heavy is another post /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif The dealer will be picking it up in another week or two but thought I'd ask here what I should also look for. This has been getting worse over the last few months. Thanks for the help.

Check the tire pressure in all tires. A few pounds either way and the bucket won't be level.

That was my thought as well. AS you sure the tractor is level?

Maybe you can string a line across the front wheels and attach a line level to check.

Bulzibart...

Your uneven FEL problem could be as simple as unequal tire pressure. Check your FEL again with the tractor sitting on a perfectly level area and make sure that the air pressure in each set of tires is equal. My guess is that since your problem has been progressively getting worse that you have a
slow leaking tire. Probably one of the rear tires.

Hope this helps. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks that was one thing I never thought of. When I get home later I'll give the tires a check. Thanks again

While I'm here at work thinking about all this it came to me that it might not be the tires. While I'm parked on my paved driveway and lift the loader I watch as it lifts and compare it to the front hood guard. While the guard is level to the hood when lifting the loader the bucket or the fork backstop still raise uneven to the guard. If the problem was in the tires wouldn't the guard be off too? I'll still check the tires later.

I've had this on a few loaders over the years. Sometimes it is as simple as loosening a few mounting bolts, jiggling the loader frame with a crow bar and retightening. Obviouslu check the tire pressure first. Also note that unless it is a poured concrete slab it probably isn't level.

What's with this green lettering? It must be a definition of bleeding green?? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The first new tractor delivered to my house had a bent frame, which caused the problem you are describing. It was off in relation to the ground, in my garage, and to the hood guard. After checking the air pressure and everything else, I proved to the dealer it was broken and demanded a new tractor.

The dealer confirmed my suspicion when they picked it up. It must have hit a curb or something to make it off by that much and yours is off by more. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

How long have you had this tractor?

Good luck,

I have a new B3030 with the same problem. My difference is 1 inch. I can see the left cyl. pick up before the right. My susp. is weak right cyl.The dealer picked it up today he's going to swap the cyl. around. If the left then picks up first he's going to order me a new one. I'll let you know.I too did check frame mount ect. all measered up perfect. It has to be in the hydro. cyl.
