I checked the tire presser last night and they are all the same. I've had the tractor since Oct. of last year and don't remember running into anything. We'll just have to wait and see what the dealer has to say. I'll keep you all updated.

Can you measure the distance from the top of the bucket to the top of the cross bar on the loader. Do this on both sides and compare the numbers. If it is off here, at least you know where to focus. Check for other ways to compare left side to right, section by section. You should find something that is different.

Good luck,

Mine is off by almost an inch. Has always been this way. All this talk makes me want to look into why mine is off. I always assumed it was a minor tweek somewhere but now, after reading some of the responses, I'm not so sure /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif. Keep all the suggestions coming and let us know what the dealers says.

Mine is out a bit to, but 3" is alot.

You got me concerned as well. If I had to guess, I'd say my left side lifts about an inch before the right.

Looks to me like all the possibilities have been listed already, and to the best of my knowledge, it has to be one of those three things:]

(1) differential tire pressure,
(2) bent or damaged arms or brackets - could have even been done at the time it was manufactured, or
(3) mounting brackets installed wrong or slipped after installation - the manual with my loaders said to install the brackets with all the nuts and bolts, with everything sitting on a flat level surface, but to not tighten any of the nuts and bolts until all were installed.

Of course, that's if it's uneven when parked on a level surface. If it only becomes uneven when it starts to raise; i.e., one side raising quicker than the other, then I would guess there could be a problem with a hydraulic cylinder or line, although it would also seem possible to me that some of the mounting nuts and bolts could be loose.

I'm with you Bird,

I have found as much as a 1/4" discrepancy at the base of a vertical (tower) support, which is about 3 degrees at the top. If you measure the distance out to the loader bucket that can be as much as 3" on a medium sized FEL. You can also see ram spacing pins differ, as one may be centered and one may be to either side indicating something miss-aligned in the factory jig during manufacture.

My kubota 3130 was 1 inch out I checked all the tire pressures, they were all right on. The loader frame and whole tractor also were 1 inch out. It turned out to be the rear tires were 1 inch different in height, same mfg, same size , but they had different mold markings. the dealer replaced one tire with matching mold markings and it fixed the problem. I even accused my wife of driving into something and twisting it.

Still waiting for the dealer to come and look at the problem. I did get to take some measurements the other day. Coming off the top loader arms to the top of the bucket there is a 3/4 in difference from one side to the other. There is a 1/2 inch difference on the front mount/stand and a 1/4 inch from one side to the other on the rear mounts. As I said before all the tires have the same air pressure in them. To me something is really off. Not sure if its the loader, mounts, or the tractor. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to look closer at it and find out whats up.

Just got it back from the dealer and it turns out that the FEL was tweaked.. They put the bent peice in the press and made it straight again at no charge. I hope the FEL isn't made that cheap if it will get tweaked that easy.. I still don't remember hitting anything hard with it. Oh well we'll see how long it stays straight.

Thanks for following up with an update. I'm glad it worked out for you.
What part of the loader did they have to straighten?
