Back in business. Thank you to everyone for your help & experience. I learned about the micro aspects of lighting on 12V battery & tractor.

i also left a bag of moth balls in the hood. The “tomcat” bait that was wired in this time was half eaten. The other/first one was completely removed.

Thanks again guys !!

Best,
tstex

Ok... But what was the solution....
Hello Wrangler.

Since it was mentioned I could reuse the connectors, I figured out how to remove the old male terminals. After removal, I evened up all 6 conductors, removed insulation and crimped them into the new male/uninsulated terminals. Then pushed all the terminals into their respective slots of the connector. I connected the male terminals/connector into the newly fixed ones to test them, and both hi & lo lighting worked fine. (y)

Next, I took doubled sided sticky black electrical tape and wrapped it around the main black flex tube, then to each pair of 3 wires to the terminals, connectors and to the light0heads. I then coated the outside sticky portion w Cayenne Pepper, then wrapped again w the foil tape. "Come and get it!" If they bite into it again, they'll get Cayenne b4 reaching any copper. I also put a bag of mothballs into the area to ward them off. I also left the 1/2 chewed poison block inside the area, which is secured by wire. When I go out this weekend, I am going to check the poison block to see if any more is chewed. I also think these are rats now bc the blk excrement is much larger than a mouse.

I will keep everyone posted of any new issues...thanks again
