Updating the Lights in my Barn... LED the best?

Another user of 4' LED's. I got mine to light up a reloading shop I am setting up. About 14x20 What a difference!

The ones I got can be linked together (up to 10) and I used 4 - two over each bench arear. 5000 lumens and $70 from Amazon. Used an adapter that turns the overhead ceramic fixture into a plug so they come on with the existing light switch. Super simply install. My buddy was so impressed he bought 12 for his three car garage.

I am looking to get some better lighting for our barn with 16-foot ceilings. I want to move away from 4-foot lights and make everything simple. Seems to me that these "deformable" LED lights are going to fit the bill but I wanted to get everyone else advice before I pulled the trigger.

Looking at a bunch of #3 lights from this video.

From the results, shown better on the website, those seem to be the best color temperature and the best performing.

What do you TBN'ers think?

What I like about these "deformable" LEDs is the simplicity. I'm going to try 2 of these (#5 in the list) in the mechanical room in the basement. If these work out, I think I'll spring for the really bright ones for my attached garage, which has 3 standard fixtures.

Those deformable LEDs look cool, but most of us don't have light sockets in the ceiling (for our shops or barns), we have outlets or hard wire boxes. If you are bothered by shadowing (usually because of using "shop lights" with reflectors on low ceilings), try the new V-shape LED 4 foot fixtures. I recently picked up a set of these for a project and I'm quite impressed:

I’ve had good luck with the LED UFOs. They have online lumen calculators that will guide you to the size you need. I just wire in plugs on the ceiling and attach the UFOs to an eye bolt with a carabiner.

We replaced a bunch of T8 4 bulb fluorescent fixtures at work with 200w UFO fixtures. The area we put them in went from being kind of dark and hard to see to extremely bright, to the point where the forklift guys had us aim the lights so that they weren't looking straight into them when stacking in that area.
