This would be a great time for you to experience FEL removal. After running a brush cutter without the FEL, you'll not go back to leaving it on!!! Much more maneuverable and in my opinion, even rides better.

You are right about that and if you have nice level place or even concrete pad it's easy get on and off.

AGREE :thumbsup: Just about any field work is nicer to do with the FEL removed IMO.

I did that on mx all the time just didn't have time yesterday, I'm so far behind on taking care of people

Im having a hard time finding tie down spots. Do you guys trailer often with this size tractor?

I trailer my tractors often. If FEL is on I tie over the bucket in the front. If no implement on the rear I use a clevis on the drawbar. If implement on, I tie over it. I also added a tie down ring on the front guard when I modified it to use when the FEL is removed.

I use straps,one usually goes on what I have on loader(pulls straight down),if nothing on loader I have a servey stick use push strap threw that hole on loader,other goes across brush guard(pulling forward)that's the front. Then on back I use a shackle in draw bar(pulling rearwards) If I have mower on back,I go in beside the draw on tractor(pulling rearwards). One going around mower tongue in X patteren(pulling straight down)short hauls may skip this one,then last one on rear tires of mower(pulling straight down). Chains scratch everything to much why I don't use them.

The back is where I struggle to find anything to go around. The front I do the loader and front gaurd and same as you on the mower. I drove home last night 5min and feel like it moved on me a little so I may have to reevaluate so tie down spots.

Wow, congratulations on the new rig! Looks great and I bet a big improvement over the Mx.

I purchased a large d ring that goes into my drawbar and run my chain through that.

Thank you. An indication of it's effectiveness is the scratched paint and dents in the expanded metal.

Well I've put about 16hrs on it new setup and it's awesome. Still getting use to the gear drive over my HST. Only 2 complaints I have for now are the the pto button is so sensitive, if you happen to barely touch it it will go off. 2nd is if got poured on the other night and was soaked so I wish I had the cab at that moment. But after the rain past it was a beautiful night out in a field.

But after the rain past it was a beautiful night out in a field.

I'll never admit it to James, but I love it. Even helps during those quick little showers when away from the shed.

enjoy your new tractor its a nice step up from the mx5100.what did they allow you for trade in on your 5100.didnt you get the 7060 hydro shuttle.

Ya I have my canopy off my mx but didn't get it installed that quick but I did put it on the next day and man it helps so much. It's not as heavy duty as yours though, I'm not a fabricator at all

They started to give me 17,000 but I said that wouldn't work for me and then they instantly went up to 19,500. Yes got the hydro shuttle still learning that I don't have to clutch to change direction, just for the gears

well i can tell you a trick to not clutching.i would crank the tractor.then put it in the gear i wanted to use without clutching.then id put it in gear with the hydro shuttle.if i was working it then id put it in N on the hydro then clutch and change gears.you got a nice price for your tractor.
