Run bigger pin,lot of slack in the one you have by the look of picture, could be shadow. Some folks cut piece of angle iron with hole and run it on top draw bar. Another could do it take it somewhere and get them drill hole further up on draw bar, take a machine shop probably. Just throwing out ideas...

I agree I'd run a bigger pin if the cutter hitch hole is big enough to do so. Otherwise, not sure I see a problem. That's just what you get unless you run a Hammer Strap on your tractor hitch.

I'll try to post a pic. If it won't open, here's a link to a Google search for reference. https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=hammer+strap+hitch

Edit: I built one for my tractor last Winter, but somehow, didn't take any pictures. :)

I thought the hitch should all be level? Notice how the draw bar is wearing at an angle?

No they all do that to an extent, once you get a bigger pen it won't be as bad. That angle iron piece I was talking about is more of a wear plate so not wearing on your draw bar.

I couldn't tell by the pic, but assume this is on your brush cutter?? If so, there is a lot of weight on the tongue and it will never set level. That's where the Hammer Strap drawbar comes in. It makes the wear occur on the cutter hitch and/or hitch pin rather than your expensive tractor drawbar. I'd be finding a fix for that soon.

On the other hand, if you have a hitch like that on a ground engaging attachment such as a disk you can adjust the tongue height on the attachment to get the hitch to pull level with a load on it. Of course, it will still flop down like yours when carrying the tool.

You might contact your dealer and ask if they offer a Hammer Strap for your tractor?? Or go to the Google link I offered and find one online.

I can't see the pictures. Is it because I'm on my phone and not a computer?

I totally agree, the hitch set up looks terrible. It seems to be an accepted practice and I run mine the same way and don't like it.
I think the solution is what the other guy showed which is a hammer strap.
As equipment has evolved, I am surprised this hitch set up is still the standard.
It will oval out and wear down your draw bar....

Sorry forgot to post an update...

I actually fixed it. Turned out the dealer forgot to put in another bolt

Well been debating on trading this one in amd going to a cab. Biggest reason is for adding the tractor to my snow removal jobs I get. I already run 2 trucks but they don't do well on driveways.

Yeah cabs are nice,my allergies just to bad for an open station. Since it's fairly new it will probably take a hit,you looking to find a lightly used unit like yours or a new?

The dealer quoted me a new 7060 just like mine but with cab for about 46k and mine for 33k I'd lose 2000 for what I owe right now. But I'm in no rush other than trying to get a current model, heard the 8560s have been changed
