What about driving a loader solely from the rear spools?
Would this not mean slower cycle times?

I'm not familiar with that setup. Mine is not set up that way. The Kioti website lists cycle times for each loader but the KL1495 is not listed with the DK55 on the US website. They use the KL551 loader. I just noticed this myself as they certainly used to have the older KL1490 listed but it is not offered on the website here anymore. I don't know if there is a European Kioti website that might have those cycle time numbers for you. The comparable figures for the KL551 are raise 5.5sec, lower 5sec curl 2sec, dump 3sec.
