used BX24 "for sale"

I currently own a BX24 with a 60" MMM, weight box, and 60" Brush hog rake. I am moving into a new home soon and will need a much larger machine.
B2920? Though I have approx 140hrs on it now, My dealer thinks I should attempt to sell it outright. Says it is worth in the range of $14,000. Does this sound right?

Hi, It will be tough getting 14k. I've been looking for similar machines bx22, 23, and 24s. With FEL and Backhoes they are in the 9-13k range. There are lots of them.

I would take the other poster's advice and trade it in and take the savings on the sales tax.

Well, I got the $14 Grand I was asking. Now the question is. What do I Buy? I have found the BX to bee a great little machine, however, with the new place I would like the next step up. I heard the B-series is not much of an upgrade? I was looking at the B2920? Or maybe the B3030? Any thoughts?

I had a BX1500 at one point and I now have a B3030 on my 1-1/2 acres. For 2 acres (what your profile shows) a "B" should be fine. The new 20 "B" series have a nicely integrated backhoe option that works and detaches very similar to the BX24. The larger 30 series like I have do not integrate the backhoe as well (separate seat etc.).

I just sold my BX2350 and my new B2920 was delivered last Friday. I put 15 hrs on it this weekend. It is a wonderful machine. I didn't want a huge tractor, compactness was a factor in my decision. I am sure the B7800 is a lot more tractor but the B2920 was a good fit. Also, it was a little less money. I mowed about 4 acres and dug several stumps and a few rocks. I picked up one rock that had to be close to 1000 lbs. As expected the B2920 exceeded my expectations. No regrets here!
