Using an air hose reel for water.

Why not use one of the "pocket hoses" on the market?...a 50' hose will fit in a small ornamental pot...that is not as unsightly for a garden setting IMO...

That's what I use for washing vehicles and whatever, I drain the water out and put it in a flower pot, no more 50' rubber hose for me to try to coil in cold weather.

Some family have tried the pocket hoses and they lasted about thirty minutes. The item from Northern looks good but I've read reviews elsewhere that they last for maybe two years. So we will find out how this little experiment will work..... After we get back from vacation that is.

One thing about the air hose reel, it takes a substantial mounting to stay in place. I intend to build a type of outdoor table, sink, hose reel cover for our patio and house the reel in it.

Time will tell.
