I don't have a clue, but that must be one HECKUVA friend to try this with your BX.

At least it is the correct color....

Most of those little balers are super high in price. I've seen them asking $10-$15k for them new which is crazy as you can buy a brand new Vermeer 5410 rebel 4'X5' round baler for $14,000. Looks like it would be a big pain in the neck to me, having to work with stuff that small, but I guess if it is all you had to work with, more power to ya.

The Star equipment is expensive, but it's good stuff. I did a demo of the mid-size round baler and the B size Kubotas are plenty to run them. Wouldn't want to get into hilly ground with them, but size to power, they're fine for small tractors. Take a look at some of the pics on this site.

That's cute as a dickens!! Size is only a rough 24x24 bale. Should have any problems with that baler.

That is a cute, baler! Why noy just take a regular bale and split into thirds, tie with some twine and be on your way. I know that's not the point of the post but seems silly to have a special unit for tiny bales. I guess though must be a market for it somewhere.

Hi. So what to do when using implements from other tractors not using the same oil as my BX24?

Isn't that what they use to make Shredded Wheat?

Sam,
Now your asking too much That you might actually get answers to your original question Just kidding.
The BX has a rather smallish hydraulic capacity so it will not take much unknown fluid to change it. I think it would be of some benefit to actually know what fluid the other attachment might have in it. If it is a quality UDT don稚 worry about it. If it is unknown you can open one line and use your system to push out fluid from one side then reverse the hook up and push out the other. This will flush out MOST of the fluid. But as I said earlier SUDT is not synthetic so you don稚 have to be concerned with mixing a good UDT with it and even if it were a concern, a change of fluids will take care of any contamination that might take place with multiple equipment changes KennyV
