You think its UTV madness - I would guess you haven't priced a 2018 Ford F350 dually diesel lately.

Ain't that the truth :drink:

Bingo..

And I love golf carts (quiet!) for going from the house to the barn. Having 2 rows of seats is even better.

Go for a Polaris EV and you'll have quiet like a golf cart, but it will go anywhere. We've been pleased with our 2010 "factory demo" model bought about 2 years ago, $7k. I've put about $800 in it for a replacement set of batteries, $250 for a real glass tilt-out windshield.

No different than purchasing any other vehicle. They come in all makes and levels of models starting with basic to the "top of the line" and everything in between. Just like tractors. :confused3:

If you want all the "goodies" and luxury, you're going to have to pay for it. Top of the line costs top dollar.

Find yourself a used Suzuki Samuri for well under $10,000.

I agree on that. They are really only a street-legal UTV. My buddy bought one stripped off the damaged cab, stuck on a dump bed and fabbed up a windshield and has a lovely UTV that can get around his place (very hilly) with ease and provides much more utility than the UTV. I think he paid less than a grand for the damage Samuri.

We bought a new Kawasaki Mule 4010 for $9000. I looked at the Kubota models and the JD Gators but couldn't really justify the difference in price for what I needed. The Mule has worked out great. Towing the manure spreader and the sprayer are it's 2 biggest uses. Room for 4 so the grandkids get to ride in it. I have also taken it to a few special events that I worked.

I liked the Mule... but in the end the very steep terrain of the tree farm swayed me to go with Hydro Static transmission and finding one used but not abused sealed the deal.

It is one of those things you never knew you needed until you have it.

I too had sticker schock and still do... had to travel about 250 miles round trip to get the 900

You are looking at a Kubota - the RTV is the best built one on the market.

I would buy one without a second thought.

I like the Kubota....but the best built one not he market? It is a great side by side that is built extremely well from what I can see....but there are several others that are great as well. I would hate to call one of them the "best"....that is a subjective statement. They each shine in their own ways. And please don't take this wrong. I LOVE Kubota....and I like their RTV....and I could easily own one, but I own another brand.
