I've already got the basic V-plow so I'm moving in that direction. But, you never know what the future holds. Maybe an upgrade in tractors in a few years, but no, I really don't need a straight blade right now. I just like the looks of the one Metalworkshed pointed out.

Go for it! I got this Fisher for pretty cheap and it works well, but my tractor is a little bit bigger. Get some chains, and as they say, "plow with the storm" or don't let it get 2' deep before you hit it. With the Fisher, it uses d/a cylinders that are fed by the loader valve. The lift cyl. is fed by the 3rd function. I think that the Boss plows use a spring return and that might require some carefull "plumbing" to allow you to "Vee" of "scoop", both of these features are really handy.
Here's a link to my build.http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/build-yourself/328941-frame-mount-snowplow-kubota-9540-a.html

Rustyiron, thanks for responding. You're right that the Boss uses SA angle cylinders with a spring return. Probably not as easy as using DA cylinders, but I've gathered most of what I need and I'm going to try the SA and see what happens. I can always change things if needed. I think I figured out how to post pictures so if they do show up below you'll see most of my plow parts and my tractor. The shot of a bracket is the MMM bracket and I can either attach to it, or remove it and build a mount directly to the tractor body. If the pictures don't come through bear with me and I'll figure it out. BTW, I do intend to remove my FEL and mount the plow directly to the tractor body and use the tractors hydraulics.

I wonder if you don't have the Boss angle cylinders, (I didn't see them in your pic.) if you could use a small d/a cyl. or fit in the fisher cyls.? They are expensive at the dealer but a bit cheaper on some of the online plow parts stores. Check out Surplus Center for cylinders & hoses. I use the bucket dump/curl for the left wing and the boom up/dn for the right wing. Fortunatly I have the 3rd function that's operated by a button on the loader joystick for the single acting lift cyl. With that big of a blade, you really should retain the ability to "Vee" in the deeper snow's. It does not take that much tractor (or weight) to go through the deep stuff to "open it up", then you can take smaller bites pushing it back in a full angle position.

Rustyiron, I do have the SA cylinders and the springs but I'll be getting together with the guys who are going to do the heavy welding for me and we're going to discuss it over a beer. You never know what might come out of that session. These guys are my friends and relatives and all work as mechanics, welders, etc. But I appreciate your ideas as well.
I really like the job you did on mounting your plow and it sounds like you're pleased with the way it works. Beautiful tractor as well. I've only got about 500' of private driveway to worry about and all day to clear it so speed isn't that important to me.
Thanks again for your input and I'll be posting pictures as I progress.
