value of used L4310HST

Hello all, my first post - I have been lurking for some time but am finally taking the plunge by registering and posting. That said, my appologies since this is a very mundane and common type question. I searched previous posts first. but alas,, I found a dream tractor last week not 5 miles from home (MA) - a 99 L4310 HST 4x4 - w/ turf tires and an LA 681 Bucket. It has 341 hours. appears to be in excellent condition. owner says selling for larger unit - used it at his cranberry bog mowing (no mower included) He has it marked 19000 or BO. Says he needs to sell and already has an offer from a kabota dealer. Seems high to me - my question is - what would its value be? What would the dealer be offering as a wholesale piece? I had been searching long for a used B series due to $$ but if I could get this at a good price I just may consider a refi. I'd love a nice big L series - My current unit is a 1967 cub cadet 14 hp with a danco bucket, rototiller, york rake and rear blade. Things has served me well - great soldier - but I go through axles and spindles like water - I over work the poor fellow who has engine and tranny wise never complained.
Any and all comments and suggestions are gladly accepted. I'm a bit naive re: new tractors. I have @14 acres want a backhoe and brush cutter eventually, possibly a mower deck.

The value for the tractor is:
Premium condition: $17,767
Good condition: $16,761
Fair condition: $15,629

This is for the tractor only and then you would another $2500-3000 for the price of the loader and any other extras that the tractor has. $19,000 isn't too bad of a price. If it was me I would try and get it between 17 and 18 for a really good deal. If it can't be had for that it just depends on how bad you want it. Go to Steve Carver's website and see what one is going for new and he probably has some used ones there. Good luck.

Sounds like a fair price. I have the L3710,HST, dantastic tractor. 1 thing to remember - there is no mid mount PTO on the L4310, although the L3710 does have a mid mount PTO.

thanks guys, thats very helpfull - i had gone to the site that gave those values but wasn't sure how to compensate for the hours or FFL - I also was unaware of the mid PTO issue which I did feel was something I should have. hmmmm. Thanx very much for the feedback. I can use it all

Recently bought a 1999 L4310HST w/FEL, 960 hrs for $15,800. In excellent mechanical condition but needed rear fenders repainted due to paint being worn off from getting on and off tractor.
There is no mid PTO so only possiblility of MMM is to run MMM from rear PTO or front crankshaft as many older tractors do.

thanx for the additional input. Since the original replies I've been trying to make a decision. Even if I opt to not get a MMM it would bother me not having the option. being a bit "green" on all this I've been tryhing to asertain how I will limit myself by not having the MMM. I noticed the tractor does have the dual valve rear hydraulics option. I went to the local dealer but the fellow I had there was telling me that it had a M-PTO -so I didn't think I'd feel comfortable with the ensuing answer if I pursued it. Thanx all
