Vaping, wow!

Was just at the restaurant and grocery store. Every elderly lady I saw, could also pass for a man with the barbered hair. Ears high and tight. Feel very sorry for some of the men in their company. Wonder how the women would feel if the man wore a wig, dress and pumps, trying to look like a woman?

I guess at that point it's cheaper to keeper.

Anyone stupid enough to give those predators their money and their health deserves what they get. I would be the last person on earth to say they can't do what they please. I am also the last person on earth to say the predators can't hunt for their victims. The kid was 18.. We now call that an adult (for some unknown reason). "everyone else was doing it, and I thought it would raise my social standing". Yeah, now that is a right smart.

If everyone else was jumping off the Sears tower, he would be right in there with them.
Inhaling anti-freeze is about the same catagory as inhaling gasoline fumes. Not a smart thing to do.

If it's cool to do obviously unhealthy things in your social group, you should look for a new club to increase your stature in! I wonder if that ever occurred to anyone?

I'm amazed at the ones that pick up vaping as a new habit.

Easier to understand those that do it to cease smoking.

A coworker stopped smoking by using gradually smaller concentrations of nicotine in his vape machine. Kinda eased off of it.

A colleague of mine whose wife is a doctor at a university-affiliated hospital told me they had a staff meeting and basically came to the conclusion that smoking is the lesser evil than vaping. At least the long-term effects are well documented, and most ill effects aren't noticed for decades vs. vaping where 20somethings are dying from it. Vaping hasn't been around long enough to have been studied in any detail.

So much for a "safer" way to get hooked on nicotine.

How about smoking monkey cigars from a tree. I know...I'm old but we did that as kids
I've heard growing, curing, smoking your own tobacco is the safest. Doesn't have all the additives.

I saw one of the ambulance chaser advertisements on TV the other day for vaping users that have had health problems. It looks like more people are trying to get on the gravy train.

I'm old enough where cigarettes were a very common item . . . we just got hooked on our parents . . . clean sailing after that . . . even the government helped with our cigarettes being included in our rations. Seems to me this new thing going on (vaping) is not a step forward.
