Actually it was his mom who told him to come see if I could get him out. He's a good kid, wasn't driving like a maniac - if he was, he would have ended up in a lot worse shape with a smashed up car.
Nice one. Its amazing how much these tractors can pull if you get a little traction. I move around a 7,000# boat with my b2920 on some hills and non-paved surfaces. I'm always amazed by what you can move with these little machines. Nice going with no additional damage, sounds like he got very lucky!
Great job, nothing like a little pucker factor.
Tractors are amazing, I pulled a jacked up 1500 out of a snowy ditch on our shared hill driveway with my 1860 never thinking it would get it out but it was the only thing I had I figured wouldn't get stuck on the hill at the time.
Well the snowplow was on the FEL and the blower was on the 3pt, so I didn't have all the "tools" I typically have when the bucket & backhoe are on. Fortunately, all I needed was the tires.
I used the factory drawbar, by the way. Was wondering if it would pull up the front end at all, but all 4 tires stayed firmly planted on the road.
I keep tow chains with me on the skid steer when I am plowing the crazy hilly roads we live on. A little work/inconvenience for you saved him a very expensive bill and major inconvenience.
