You could post some info on craigslist

Put a low enough price on it so the buyer won't balk at that little "no title" issue ;)

It would make a perfect Craigslist Scam... collect the cash and walk away.

Still can't believe no one has messed with it.

My 1725 square feet 1957 ranch style home with Formica counters and lino floors on one acre cost me 600k in 2004.

I bought it because it adjoins acreage my parents own...

Look at a home this afternoon on a whim.... nearly 2.6 million with a 1250 shop and 3600 square foot home on 117 acres... the acreage can only be used for AG.... no homes may be built.

And to keep this Tractor related it comes with a Deere 955 TLB with accessories!

It's not my style and way over my price bracket... just to put things in comparison... hard to find acreage around here and when you do... it has often been annexed by the city as this one has.

Mine is pretty close to 4000 sq ft. 4 bedroom 3 bath 2 car, 2 bonus rooms. large shop in basement, large storage room in basement, Library, 2nd kitchen in basement. on about 3 acres..built in 1992, bought by us in 2002, for $159,000. Like I said, there is some difference in pricing... Large difference in wages too, you guys moving in from out west, can buy mansions if you sell out there.

I bought my home, 2800 sq ft built in 1997, in 2004 for $162,000. Has 4 bed rooms, 2 full baths, and 2 half baths. It sits on 3 acres and had a 52'X32' barn that is now 52'X44'. It's worth about $215,000 today.

I am always amazed at the cost of living on both coast.

I have several friends that do well as spec builders...

Permits and Fees, etc can easily come close to 200k before the first shovel of dirt is dug...

Desirable homes have gone up 50% on two years around here... maybe another bubble?

On the other hand almost 40% are all cash and the balance are making large down payments...

Here is a Oakland foreclosure that went on the market for 600k... had 15 bids and the person that bought it paid 800k in November 2012.... June 2014 it sold for 1.24m with almost nothing done...

Get permission form the landowner to haul it off and file for a lost or abandoned title then keep or sell it. Part of the lost title or abandonment process is listing it is local papers, if no one comes forward, it is yours all nice and legal.

any chance you can get the serial number and contact the manufacturer ?
they may provide owner's name or offer to contact the owner, since it is
relatively new.

Legal wouldn't le t me sleep at night knowing it's stolen, and would be essentially EASY to contact the owner if law enforcement would put downt he donut and get off their butts...

I'd hat to think my trailer was setting a couple streets over from my farm, and LEO knew about it and wouldn't do anything, and because of that someone else can just walk away with it. etc.

IMHO.. this is a failure of local LEO

I'd elevate this to state police.... perhaps even IA

I do think telling the news that you have a known stolen trailer setting ther eand LEO won't leave the sandwich shop to do anything about it might grease the wheel.

Heck.. I wonder if DMV could help? Or a local state REP.. county comissioner.. . etc.
