In the spring I bought a KK II 6FT rototiller 7FT rake and a 6 FT box blade from TSC, hooked it up and did a dry run on the tiller the chain on the shield snapped and went flying after 4-5 min of use and the PTO shield was cut.The roll pin had come out of the shaft to u joint connection .Brought it down to TSC and they said they would get me a new shield,About 5 weeks went by and no shield, needed to rototill drove pin back in and used it did less than150 sq FT of garden pin is coming out again drove it back in and put hose clamp over roll pin and got it done I called KK directly and told them of the problem and they said it happens occasionally and sent me out a new PTO shaft complete in 3 days good service on KK's part and I am happy with the tiller. During this time my neighbor brings over 17 loads of horse manure mixed with shavings I spread it out with the FEL and then rake it with the Farm Force rake the manure I was raking was no more than 1 FT deep at the highest point when I got off the tractor I noticed the rake was twisted a bit and the canter tines were lower than the ends.I called TSC and the dist. mng told me that the rake was not designed for that HP of a tractor and to bring it back . Yesterday morning I hooked up the box blade and went down to a brushy area that I wanted to clean up, went over back and forth with the FEL to loosen it up most of it was 1-2 in dia and a gravel base .I then used the box blade to finish pulling up the root system after about 6-7 passes the box blade was bent up 45 deg. the top link to box blade supports were bent like pretzels.another Farm Force piece of equipment.
IMO the rake and the box blade should have a CAT 0 rating, I have had other brands of rakes and box blades in the past that were CAT 1 and used them on CAT 2&3 on 60-125 HP tractors and never had failures like this.
BTW this is being used on a DK 45 in 2WD .
