What is the answer? I can't read the tape in the video.

I couldn't see the tape either. I was impressed that the guy operating the tractor had the patience to keep digging with that bucket. Kind of like using a spoon instead of a shovel.

The tape read 70 inches.

Good design with short sides to keep from plugging/cleaning narrow bucket. I had seen these in past for large excavators and thought someone needs to manufacture similar for small BH units.

Similar to these trenching buckets:

C'mon - That is an almost blatant advertisement for what looks like a pretty good product.
You should be reported for not providing some direct links and approximate prices :)

For example - about $325.

I may have several hundred feet of trench to put in for water pipe, do you have one that might fit a Woods BH70-X?

Well, yes, it says he is an approved advertiser.

What? There are links included for each of the three variations mentioned, the second being to the same page you linked to. Each leads to a webpage for the product with prices displayed in a big red tag.

Sorry, for some reason the links didn't show up on my browser until after I rebooted.
I hope you did notice the emoji

Nice tool to have, if you don't mind digging slower, as Eddie pointed out. Did anyone else notice at the 57 second mark, the SMV emblem that was bolted onto the boom was removed? It was wider than the bucket and it would have gotten destroyed if they hadn't removed it.

Yes, I always thought that SMV sign sticking out there on the boom looks goofy anyway.

I have a BX22. When I built my 9" bucket I had determined about 8" was the absolute minimum width the bucket could be without the bucket linkage rubbing the side of the ditch. Those pins are about 7 1/2" long. I wonder what the actual width of the ditch dug in that video is? My main goal when I built the bucket was reducing the cutting force needed to get through our clay that gets about like rock when its dry. I bought the rig with the 12" bucket, which gets little use now unless its wet or I need a hole to work in. If it truly is a 4 1/2" ditch, is the bucket linkage changed also? Looks like a nicely made attachment.
