I would guess they are Chinese made at that price. Even if passive reg, which it likely I based on specs, its still not scarry. I've had a brushless 3600rpm pto Gen (Chinese), since 2004. Also 12.5kw.. Etc.

If you are buying from an online dealer, watch out for ? Idg? Their 'product expert' mike doles out bad info on pto, hp, sizing, etc.
