Man, you do have some view.

All from my deck except the one with my BX in the driveway. Been here on the Hood Canal after growing up in the Seattle suburbs, and few year stints in Huntsville Al, the Bay Area Ca.

Nothing like the Pacific Northwest along the Puget Sound.

No mountains or distant views for me in Thurston County but the woods, small salmon spawning stream and salt water are a slice of heaven... and the perfect place to recharge the soul.

Did you get the flying bug?

Yes and no. I always love flying. The smaller the plane, the better. But I like to look around, not be bothered with controlling the plane. I guess you could say I am the human equivalent of a dog in a truck! :laughing:

I had a couple of friends that flew but they could afford the cost of plane ownership...

The last Friday of the month the 6 of us would fly somewhere for lunch... I really looked forward to it and when I got on at the Tool and Die shop I asked to have the last Friday of the month off... owner thought it an odd request but said OK... kids!

I was the kid as all of the others were very much my senior... mostly we flew in Cessna P210.

The oldest was a WWII fighter Ace in a day... he had lots to say when I got right seat... complaining he shot down Japanese fighters, Saved his Carrier for this??? The rest were business owners.

Well... my waiting out the storm idea to transfer pictures from my windows 98 computer is getting no where.

Computer started right up... even accepted my DSL connection and I get Google to come up and can do searches.

When I try to log onto my email account or use outlook... nothing.... cannot log on to server... rejected.

I thought it would be as simple as emailing the files to myself...

I do have a disc burner and I-omega drive...

It is like a small cassette...

My guess email providers won't let Windows 98 past the firewall?

Interesting Google Search works

Tons of pictures in there... not a big deal but being able to export would be nice

It is bound to have a serial port. And you are bound to have another PC right? with a RS232 crossover cable you can set up networking and get them out over RS232 protocol. Real old school stuff but it could work.
