Tiny Tractor, how goes the "wedges".

How did you (or anyone) contact these guys. I sent message to them through web site and never got a reply.

I'd like to show them what I did.

I know this thread is several months old, but I thought I'd update it and point out that Wallenstein is now shipping a 4th version of this thumb that corrects the issues that have turned up.

What has been their warranty stand on the first three flawed designs? Have they supplied complete replacements each time for the older versions? Just want to know how well they have stood behind their product before making a decision to buy.

I can't say we've ever had a warrenty issue with one. The the fit problems in this thread seem to be the exception, not the norm. By and large they fit right up without the gap described in this thread. I only ever had one person complain about the fit and they just welded the backing plate on and went to town with it.

Neil,

You started a different thread awhile back, stating that you were now carrying the Wallenstein. You said you made that choice because the Bro-Tek had so many issues. Several of us asked you for documentation. You said we needed to search and find it ourselves. We all did search. All the issues were with Wallensteins; there were no issues anywhere regarding the Bro-Tek. Several TBN members wrote posts there calling on you to apologize for your mistake. You have never even responded at all. I feel that you at least owe it to Richard at Bro-Tek to clear the air and to say that you were mistaken in posting on this board that Bro-Tek had issues, when in fact that was not at all true.

Below is the thread in question. If you haven't been following it, you need to. You said some negative things about a guy's product that are not true. The only fair thing to Richard is for you to set the record straight.

Hey sorry. I honestly did think those issues where with the Broteck design. You spend so much time reading stuff and things much together after awhile.

So they're hoping to get it right now with the 4th version? I hope they finally took a few clues from Bro-Tek and figured out that the bolts need to be set closer to the boom so that it can't slide.

With all the positive feedback I've read about the thumb Richard designed, I'm not taking any chances and will be ordering the Bro-Tek thumb for my new BH75.

Thanks for doing that. I agree, it is not easy to keep details straight when there is so much to read through. I'm sure Richard will appreciate having the record straight that there have been only positive reports about the Bro-Tek thumb on TBN.
