I meant to say a hydraulic top link allows you to apply down pressure to an implement.

Nope.

jmt1271,
I know what you meant and I wasn't trying to bust your chops. I just wanted to make sure Mike058 was clear on what top n' tilt is, so he didn't get the wrong idea. I say this because when I was a newbie I had no idea either.

It doesnt?
Your top cylinder will only 'tilt' your implement forward and back.
Your 3-pt arms will still 'float' up and down.

Here is a tool that does not require any additional hydraulics or valve - they open and close of the action of the bucket cylinders on your loader. They are ideal for what you are wanting to do. No Chains or bucket to get in the way. Keeps load close to tractor for more lift power and stability. See live video on this site - Front-End Loaders by Westendorf: loader for tractor, shade canopy, wagons, manure & landscaping equipment. Just click on a model and look in the red box on right.

Neat idea, but how do the claws activate independently like the website says? If they are controlled by the curl cylinders then they operate together, correct?

Hey, Westendorf

Glad to see you guys are at last posting on this site.

I posted pix of your BrushCrusher on this site more than a year ago. I tried
to get your company to bring one to the World Ag Expo. I even visited one
of your distributors in Iowa hoping to see one. Your company shut down
last summer so I could not see one there. I was hoping to modify your
smaller BrushCrusher for backhoe use. I ended up building my own
mechanical articulating thumb instead and I have since been distracted
by other projects.

I still think this a great product, esp in that it requires no additional
hydraulics.
