I think I do. And I very much appreciate all the patience you guys showed as I tried to figure it out. Now, I just have to line up the funds to do everything. Trying to improve 35 acres is expensive, My driveway is going to end up being roughly 2000 ft winding through hilly topography. It will be awesome if I can pull it off.

I believe you need to have your dealer sign up with WR Long for some reason, then order the valve kit through the dealer. WR Long would not ship mine until dealer was on the books. Not exactly sure what that's all about. Very happy with my joystick install and ease of grapple control.

Alright, I am going to try and order the WR Long valve kit tomorrow. Hopefully, one of the local dealers is set up to order with them. Does anyone know of a dealer locater type thing that tells which dealers are set up with Long? Any options I should know about? When I spoke with Long the other day, he mentioned a bulkhead kit that included QDs. I plan to get that, but was wondering if there was anything else.

I would suggest just talking to Nelson Long and having him walk you through the set up and order. He does this daily and so I'd just take his advice once you've made the decision to go with WRLong. For what it's worth, I'd order the kit and the bulkhead piece and then just make sure that the correct number and size of quick connects and hoses are present. One thing to look at is what size hose and particularly connectors WRLong supplies. Most of my fittings are half inch size but the WR Long 4n1 bucket I have came with smaller hose/fittings so I need to get some bushings and correct size quick connects before I can use it.

Thanks Island. I will do that Monday when I place the order. I see a lot of people are getting the wrong size hoses with their order. Hopefully Nelson is aware of the problem and they ship me the correct ones. It will be a project for me to get the correct hoses locally. If I tell him exactly which tractor/loader I have and what grapple I will be using, they should be able to get me the right stuff, no?

I just wanted to hop in here and let everybody know how much this thread is helping me understand the whole grapple topic. I figured it cost $1000 to add a bucket grapple to a bucket and now I know you can get a proper grapple set up for only $500 more ($1500). Plus I couldn't figure out what TNT was and now I know it's Top 'n Tilt. Now if I knew what Top 'n Tilt was, I'd be really happy. Is it a hydraulic top link?

hydraulic top link is half of a top and tilt. The second half is another hydraulic cylinder to control the adjustable 3pt arm.

TNT allows you to hydraulically put down pressure on a box blade(or similar) as well as adjust the angle of the box etc.

Well, not to change the subject, but that's not exactly right about down pressure.
Most CUT's don't have any "down pressure" pushing an implement down into the Earth because the upper lift links and lower drag links float upwards. They have no down pressure. That is done by the weight of the implement. The TNT lets you hydraulically roll the boxblade forward and backward to cut or smooth by adjusting the top link, and the hydraulic side link(s) allows the boxblade to be tilted sideways...all from the operator's seat.
