Watcha eating?

Any TBN cook books must include wok recipes using a tractor pulled "disk" for a wok. New disk sections can be purchased at any tractor supply store.

Good idea! we should also try to incorporate tractor lingo in the recipe's name. Like...... tractor pulled pork......kubota Kolache.......etc....

I suggest we keep submitting ideas for the cookbook, incorporate a beginning instruction post for the new thread, and kick it off on APRIL 1st.

If it turns out good maybe we could even get it to be a sticky.

I love this thread - Watcha eating? - and it should remain active to post comments on the recipes or to introduce new ones that will be posted on the TBN Cookbook thread.

This is a great TBN marketing and sale opportunity!

There should be TBN Disk Woks that can be sold with the Official TBN Cook Book. TBN can be stamped into the disk wok. The TBN Disk Wok, aka TDW, will have to be painted in tractor colors, on the outside of course. Now, the JD TDW will have to be JD green with JD yellow used to accent the rim of the TDW. The JD TDW will look the best and work the best of course.:laughing::laughing:

I suggest that someone with superior computer skills volunteer to put the cookbook together. We could submit the recipes to them at their personal email or in a PM; they, in turn could come up with a format, categorize an organize the recipes and assemble the cookbook. The Administration in turn could come up with an online and/or hard copy if they so desire. I certainly do not have the skills to do so; but I'm sure there are some out there who have.

I don't know if Muhammad would want to do it but there must be templates available for online cookbooks...I bet even freeware has them...for free download or Cnet downloads...maybe there could be a template on TBN for the posting of recipes or if not if we can find the freeware...we could all format our recipes with it and then post...just a thought.

I have in my computer files a cookbook put together by a bunch of car guys...I would be glad to share it with anyone who would like to examine it. I would post it here, but I don't know how...I can, however, attach it to an email.

Incidentally, I would vote for a section devoted to BBQ/Smoking/Dry Rubbs/BBQ Sauce recipes and techniques. Why? Because it's my thing, and because TECHNIQUES AND RECIPES ARE ESSENTIAL for a good result...and there's nothing like experience; you can't get it out of a box.

Having different sections makes good sense. It would require multiple discussion threads, Bread, BBQ, Deserts, Breakfast, Soups, Don's Favorite Veggies Meats...:laughing::laughing::laughing:

Different threads would make it easy to create the Cook Book. The Desert or Breakfast section would need the Apple Turnovers recipe that was posted years ago. I used that one and it is good. :licking::licking::licking:

Seriously, we should have a section called Don's Heart Healthy. :):):)

Absolutely I agree

I agree completely with 2lane and Brin, and as the idea was Don's, I guess it is appropriate to have a healthy heart section. I suggest putting the health food section right between the pork and beef bbq chapters!
