Water to gas? How about baby drool as an industrial lubricant. All we have to do is harvest the drool from the babies and sell it lol Just have one problem though....All these babies together causes too much noise pollution oh well

Judging how much water i've been draining out of my seperator traps on my diesel.. I'd be inclined to think diesels can run on water too! ;)

So to summarize...

  • We can run a diesel engine on water instead of diesel
  • We can put a tractor engine in a truck and get great mileage
  • We can put baby drool in the crankcase
  • And it will float and pull a skier

Does anyone have any good ideas for alternate coolant or wiper fluid?

Mythbusters proved that you can run a car engine with Coke or some other soft drink in the radiator overnight.

How about using a big roof mounted funnel to collect air as the car goes down hill. The air could then be released against a sail later on.

heck if you run low on coolant or wiper fluid.. just drain a couple quarts from your fuel (water) tank!

Hey.....if we can burn water and we can burn alcohol....if we were to use washer fluid as ballast...wouldn't the tires turn themselves?

Yes, shocks could generate substantial amounts of current on slightly bumpy roads. I bet damping could be almost totally electrical instead of hydraulic. I also bet that would be some hella expensive shocks! :D
.
Power generated by electric shocks is proportional to number and weight of the jumping children (see bellow definition of "jumpiness") on the back seat(s). Also electricity generated by electric breaks going downhill is much higher for fully loaded van than lightly loaded sport coupe with a room for only with a little dog on the back seat. Looks like fully loaded vans would do much better than sport coupes in this regard but that might be erroneous assumption. The gain might be about equal due to better aerodynamics of the coupes.

Note: You can substitute several feisty church ladies for the children. Just give them a bottle of booze and turn the volume up. Loud radio will lower electricity gain but the results of experiments published elsewhere on the Internet suggest that the loss in efficiency is well made up improvement of jumpiness (That is new unit specifically for this type of power generation 1JMP=160#*8in*60jumps/min).
Disclaimer: Disregard in states not allowing alcohol consumption in the car.

Heck.. you could filter the cabin air and re-coup the alcohol vapor intheir breath and dump that inthe fuel tank to.. probably double the fuel economy again .. over that straight water stuff!!
