As previously posted I have had CPAP machines forover 20 years, and quite a few different designs of nasal masks. Never had a problem with any mask, and I wonder whether those having problems with them have a breathing problem that a mask cannot fix and needs further investigation. My Australian experience (where my machines are made, and I think the inventors of CPAPs) was useless advice that would not stop my snoring. I did try them. Next Scotland, where I was first advised a nose and throat operation - with a high failure rate. Then the CPAP and no more problems, but I am sure there must be lots of people with similar types of problems for whom CPAPs are not the answer. I regret all I can offer is sympathy, because anyone in the same house as me has been able to get a lot more sleep since I stopped snoring.
